Have you ever watched an awesome TED Talk and really wanted to discuss it with other people? This is your chance!

TED Talk Talks are like a book club for TED Talks. Watch the TED Talk, then join the virtual meeting to share your thoughts and observations. Mattison will facilitate the discussion, but with all the smart people that like TED Talks, it might get a little crazy. Like herding cats, as they say.

A link to the TED Talk we’ll discuss will be sent via e-mail three to five days before the meeting. Please register before Monday at 5 p.m. so I have enough time to send you a link to the talk and you have time to watch and digest it.

TED Talk Talks are always free, but you must register.

By registering for TED Talk Talks, you agree to the following guidelines:

  • Be respectful, professional, and courteous.
  • Keep your comments and sharing on topic.
  • This group is a safe place to share your insights and learn from others. It is not a place to enroll others in your way of thinking or try to garner support for your ideas.
  • TED Talk Talks are a business project. Keep comments professional. Personal questions or attacks are grounds for removal.
  • Participation requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make the talks great, but may be sensitive and private. What’s shared in the group should stay in the group.
  • Absolutely no political discussions, unless relevant to the TED Talk. Keep your party affiliations and political opinions to yourself.
  • Give others time to speak.
